Top 50 Biblical History Blogs

Several bloggers are rightly celebrating their inclusion on a new list of the Top 50 Biblical History Blogs. Neither the NT Blog nor the NT Pod themselves make the cut, nor does the NT Gateway make it into the "other studies and study tools" section, but those absences give all the more room for all the other fine resources listed there.

Mark,

This sentence fragment shows just what a class act you are. Not even a, "maybe will will one day make it", anything along those lines, just a simple "jolly good show" to those that made it.

Cheers!

The author let me know deinde made it on to the resource section. After I thanked him the first thing I mentioned was your absence.

Rich makes an excellent point. NT Blog does appear in Biblical Proportions' previous top 50 list for online scripture study, but the NT Blog-Pod-Gateway triad would certainly (and supererogatively) be at home in the history list also.

To be honest, Mark, i'd say there are too many good blogs missing here (including yours) to make this a list worth noting.

I don't know who Linda is, but she's included blogs whose posts are really quite a rare event, and ignored those like yours or John Hobbins whose posts are frequent and informative.

I should start doing some kind of blog list. I have started http://webulite.webhop.org which will be http://webulite.com when the domain kicks in. And I could do a blog list based on statistics like # of posts in a week, number of comments in a week, etc...

How are these people doing their lists?

lists like this should be made with known data parameters, and those parameters should be published so that you know what makes something go to the top.

Cheers!
