Thought for the day
I am really enjoying reading Dale Allison, Resurrecting Jesus, in the few spare moments I have at the moment, and rather liked this comment which he makes in passing:
"One cannot fairly criticize an idea by ridiculing its distortions" (222).
I can think of occasions when I could have used that line to good effect, and I am going to remember it for the future.
I've used Dale Allison quite a bit lately for inspirational quotes. This is a good one too.
ReplyDeleteNice to have you back.
