Anthony Hopkins was both Doctor Who and the Apostle Paul.

Doug: Yes, the same person who played Sherlock Holmes.
James: Hopkins was indeed Paul but he was not one of the ten doctors.

For what it's worth, there's some Doctor Who fan fiction written by someone named "Saint, Paul".
